Synonyms: Polypodium medullare, Sphaeropteris medullaris, Cyathea affinis.

Family: Cyatheaceae.

Distribution: Endemic to Fiji, the Marquesas Islands, Tahiti, the Austral Islands, Pitcairn Island, and New Zealand (except for the Kermadec Islands).

Height: 20 meters (66 feet).

Frond length: 6 meters (20 feet).
