Argyrochosma
The genus Argyrochosma, or false cloak ferns, consists of around twenty species (all from the from the Americas). They are small xeric ferns found in dry, rocky habitat. Six species are endemic to the United States, with two of these (Argyrochosma jonesii and Argyrochosma limitanea) found in California. A total of twelve species occur in Mexico.
