Nursery Ordering Information

We are retail mail-order only. Sorry, it is not possible to collect your order from the nursery in person.

Our default shipping method is USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation, or alternatively, your order can be shipped via FedEx (additional costs may apply). Sorry, we do not currently ship plants outside of the United States.

For customers in Hawai`i, we will only ship species which are endemic to the Hawaiian Islands (i.e. Sadleria, or `ama`u).

Additionally, we are currently unable to ship to the State of Florida due to a statewide Florida Department of Agriculture ban on all nursery stock from California.

All orders are processed on a first-come, first-served basis, and are limited to nursery stock on hand. (No backorders).

For tree ferns there is a limit of five plants for each species per order.

We are pleased to offer a 10% discount on all plant orders from members of the San Francisco Botanical Garden.

Before ordering, please know your USDA hardiness zone and check that the plant(s) are suited to where you live. (Our nursery is located in zone 9b).

8.75% sales tax will be applied to all California orders.

For each and every plant we sell which is on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Plants, a donation will be made to the IUCN - The World Conservation Union.

All of the plants from our nursery are treated with MycoApply® Soluble mycorrhizal innoculant.

All plants are carefully inspected prior to their being shipped and carry a 30-day replacement guarantee from the date of purchase if they are found to be defective. Please note: This 30-day guarantee is void if the customer does not properly care for the plant.

Sorry, we do not accept returns on plants for any other reason.
